Soft rods suck, no smart arse comments lol. For me I want hard core graphite in medium to heavy to feel the bite and get a solid hookset. Actually have some ice ugly sticks for the jaw jackers but don't really do that anymore.

X2 only ugly sticks I still use are for trolling. They may also get notched off the list eventually as well. It's annoying watching a big fish rip 20 feet of line off and not get hooked.
