Got to fish the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk section at Ridgway State Park on the 23, 24 and 26 for a few hours each day. Varying weather, from warm to cool. On the 23rd I went for quantity to break in a new rod (thanks Santa!) and caught lots of rainbows, browns and a cutthroat. Fish were stacked in the usual pools, and were suckers for eggs and SJ worms. On the 24th I tried dries where fish were slurping, but switched back to nymphing which worked more consistently. Had a great day on the 26th dredging wooly boogers and knocked out several nice rainbows and browns up to 18 inches. Nice way to close the year!
