Hey Jay, i just added a post a while ago on Union, my husband and i were there today for a while. Didn't catch anything ourselves but some guys were catching trout. A friend told me the wiper there start hitting pretty good middle of March. It was starting to get pretty windy just before we left, a pretty cold wind at that.

Catching wiper in the early spring/late winter is tough...they like the water to warm up a bit...I liken it to catching largemouth through the ice...I have seen it done at Chatfield but not very often...I think they stay deep until the water warms...
