The USFWS is considering changing the current split and season structure for duck hunting. There are several different arrangements they are considering. In my opinion, these changes will only benefit us waterfowl hunters, especially in the SE portion of the state. We did not get the usual influx of ducks into our area until a week before season ended.

Thanks man...good read. I hope they make a zone for Pueblo County; containing a short early split, and the a second split pushed way later in the year. Giving the birds a good rest in the middle, and allowing the hunters the opportunity to get into the early birds, and the late late birds. Which like last year, there were no early birds, and everything came in at the last week of the season. Damn smart ducks anyway...
