If its not off limits go down to the dam and throw tubes-the smallies in there love 'em. Fish right in the rocks.

Where is Vallecito located?  Thanks!
Its up by Durango.

From Bayfield, go north on County Road 501 approximately 15 miles. From Durango, go northeast on County Road 240 approximately 20 miles.

Vallecito from what I hear has good pike fishing as well.

Bear glad to see you guys back. If you make it up here give me a hollar. Tell sunshine hey for me. Try Brown tubes for those smallies. Dont forget there are salmon in there and they will be spawning here shortly. Take care Bernie
