I have been trying to get out at least once a week when the chore list allows and the local front range creek outside of Denver have been treating me well.

Caddis activity has really picked up in the last few weeks, but so have the thunderstorms that can increase flows and turn the creeks into chocolate milk.

Below is an edit of my recent fly fishing footage.

If you get out, watch for the caddis, elk hair caddis and x-caddis have been working on top and prince nymphs have been working subsurface along with assorted midge patterns.

Have a good one and stay cool.

Cool video, thanks for sharing. I tried fly fishing for the first time out at Deckers last weekend. It was a great time, it was pretty cool to catch fish on such a small fly, it kinda blew my mind, lol...
