Got there at about 8:30am (damn time change couldn't get out of bed) the wind was pretty bad until 11:00. After it died down the bass started hitting. Caught about 35-40 lm bass, but 30 were just little tiny things,I don't know how the got my texas-rigged worm in the mouth. The others were not that bad 12-16 inches all on a black power bait worm.(6 inch)

Sounds like a great day!

But isn't Sawhill artifial flies and lures only? If so, I'd be careful about using power worms with the new definition of artifial.

Yup any scented or salted plastic is considered bait now, and cannot be used on fly and lure waters only.

There are three ponds at Sawhill that you can use bait on,I assume I was on those ponds ??? The DOW is going a little far on their new stance with salt and scents in my opinion.

I think the front two ponds at Sawhill allow bait. But don't assume; make sure you're using scented plastics only where allowed, because I doubt a DOW officer will cut you any slack.

And, I agree that the DOW is going too far with their stance on salt and scent.
