I went out with some buddies last night and tried to show them how to fish for walleye at night. The lake is high but thats good. Just lots of snags everywhere. Not sure on water temp but I'm going to guess 50. The wind was chilly but not to bad. We fished one rocky wind swept point with jerkbaits. I had a clown colored Smithwick rogue. I caught 5 fish with the biggest being 23-24 inches and one other keeper.

Night of 03/30, got into my first eyes of the year. Caught 4 (1 keeper), lost one to a late headshake just before net.

The one I'm holding was #1 of year for me, obv nothing special, but was pretty happy to finally have landed an eye this year after a few outings.

Thought the colors on this one were gorgeous

Hit my pond up the next day. It was slow but i did catch a decent bass. Only hit of the day. Big girl behind this fish when i was bringing it in probably 4.5 pounds. I don't think there's a lot of fish in this pond but the ones that are there are big.
