favorite weather for fishing ....reading epics post about this morning he mentioned fish stacked up from wind .....one of my favorite bass lakes when the wind is blowing hard from the west I catch 17-20 inch largemouths almost every cast ...I have gotten myself into some crazy storms doing this but its awesome....when I see whitecaps and people running for there trucks im walking back to my spot getting ready to have fun ....what kind of weather do you prefer ?

I prefer hot calm days on the river and hot overcast days on the lake... But I will fish in any conditions, until I catch one then I'll wait an hour or two with no hits and say atleast I didnt get skunked and pack it in.

I prefer overcast days with an ambient temperature of less then 80. I have never done good on hot, clear calm days. If the day temps reach 90 or more I'll go night fishing. If it is raining I'll go fishing. If it is snowing I will DEFINATELY go fishing.
