well fg started talking about making his own poppers
and well i started thinking and well anyone that knows me knows thinking is not one of my strong points
so i made this frog    here are the pics

and the last pic is of my wife holding the frog so blame her for the fuzzy pic         fg   thanks for the idea of making my own lures

the wook i used was basswood whittlers kit i got it at walmart in the hobby area the bag has 10 peices of wood in it

and the legs look cool in the water i made one foot bigger then the other so it would swim like its hurt or look hurt who know maybe it will help but the only water it has seen is in the bath tub so far

oh there has been fish in the tube sorry honey had to put them some where love you

but no not this time there were no fish but i would have put the pic up if i would have caught something out of my tub

well was thinking about your fishing skills today dan

and well it made me think of a new lure to make out
of wood

im almost done with it i just have to finish painting it

then seal it

its a skunk i will put the pics up when i get them back
