:(Sad report, friends. Started fishing (bubble and fly) Sunday afternoon: wind light to moderate. Wind died down, caught a fish; catch a fish, wind jumps back up. Total of twelve caught (and released). Monday, wind, from moderate to heavy. Total all day: seven 'bows, 11-14 inch. Tuesday, WIND, heavy to hurricane; couldn't fish at all. Wednesday, morning was fine; water dirty; no luck to speak of, about three catches. Wednesday afternoon, WIND, moderate to heavy. Three fish. Much frustration. Going back this weekend again; will hope for a better report. (P.S., the majority of those I caught Sunday evening were on my first home-tied fly! It's an ugly thing, but the fish loved it.)

I'll be the frustrated fat old man with the green hat and the unhappy expression . . . though I usually stay away during the heavy crowd times. And who knows -- things might get good. That's why we keep going back, isn't it?
