After having my wife drag our gear up the hill on our last trip at Granby last year, she gave me the ok to buy an ATV this fall. I purchased a Honda Rubicon a few weeks ago. It's Awesome!! Anyway, what type of sled would you suggest I purchase to pull my gear.

Typical gear: Clam 2000 ice shanty, heaters, cooler, vexilars, rods and tackle.

Pulling the Clam this past season, did not provide enough stabalization even pulling by hand. So I would like to place the Clam on top of another type of sled.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have the Jet sled it is awsome, I pull it behind my snowmobile but have pulled it behind a atv too they come in multiple sizes have had mine for 5 seasons now with little wear to the bottom. Also have used it to pack out a cow elk and it still pulled without much resistance. I bought it at Sportsmans warehouse in Thornton for around $70.

Look into a frabil sled/hut if you have the dough. New this year and built with runners.   I have a similar story, the wife and I pulled a frabill xlt ranger up and down the hill just west of insperation piont in 2003. (CARDIAC KIDS IN ACTION)LOL  Now we have an ATV.  Sportsmanswarehouse has several tubs that can be pulled

Make sure it's hitched on. Last year i just had a rope attatched to my Jet Sled and it kept tipping over in the tire rutts. I'm sure I looked like an idiot.
