Going out with my son tonight. We won't be able to hit any water till about 530p because I am having a root canal at 3. :-\ So we need to stay in the Metro area.

I know what, where, how and whats biting at Chatfield but does anyone know how Cherry Creek and Aurora are doing? Maybe even Bear Creek?

We will only have a few hours to fish since I have to work in the am and can't stay too late. (No later than 10p)

Yeah the wind at Aurora is always a concern. That will play into our plans. And I have not done that well at CC, I have done ok. I wonder of the crappie are really starting to kick in yet?

I ended up going to Chatfield and trying to find Pete. I had more luck finding fish than finding Pete.

Caught a couple undersized 'eyes down by catfish flats just at dusk.

Later over deeper water my son had his go tip, tip, tip, big bend and then snap on the line. What ever it was it was big and it hit hard and fast, broke his line like that.

Other than that a beautiful night on the lake. nice and cool..............
