Hi all,

I'm brand-spankin' new to this list. I only moved to Denver last August.
I guess I'm lucky to find this vast collection of knowledge in one place on
one of my favorite subjects, fishing.

I've been mainly (I moved from Maine) a saltwater fisherman, hence the name ;D Puns intended.

I've been out fishing a bunch lately since its been so warm so late in the day.
But, I've only caught one trout out of Cherry Creek so far. I haven't had
much of a chance to try any fly fishing either.

I didn't want to pay for another pass for Quincy, so I've mostly been going to
Cherry. Many of you folks have been mentioning a lot of places that I cannot
find on a map.

Where exactly is Lake Powell? Also, where is Jefferson lake?

Hi folks,

Thanks for the replies and info. This is definitely a wonderful site. All these
generous anglers willing to share info and such.

I'm heading down to the Eleven Mile area this weekend. Maybe the burn
areas aren't too bad. I'll post a report if I get to do any fishing.
