So with two kids under 4, I don't always have that much time to fish. Recently I have been going out in the evening targeting White Bass from a lake not to far from me. I usually only have about an hour to fish, but I have been doing very well for 8-12 inch fish using Jerkbaits like the HD Trout. I was there last Friday and saw a ton of shad boiling on the surface near shore. One about 5in launched itself out of the water like a rocket, landed on a rock, waited a bit, and flopped its way back into the water. My old phone was busted, and I got a new one this weekend. Hoping to take some decent pictures with it soon. Seems like the time is right to cast shad imitations in the warm water! Cheers.
