Went out last night to chase some warm water species with my 3wt. First cast caught this guy and nothing after that! Little disappointing as I thought I was going to be into them all night but he fought well nevertheless.

Simi seal leech in Canadian brown I believe, that pattern usually kills it on the whites and crappie with a quick strip retrieve but lately the bite has been slow. I'm pretty sure they are whites because that size is average, never caught anything much bigger that would lead me to believe it was a wiper. I'll check next time though, whites have one patch and wipers have 2 is that right?

Yessir. It probably was a white but it's always fun to do a little research
