I wish humans would let the bluefin be for thirty years or so, let them rebound.
For what it is worth, I would love to catch one, eat one, etc. I just honestly don't consider myself (or anyone else, for that matter) worthy of the honor.
From an evolutionary perspective, bluefin tuna are the ne plus ultra. They are the warm-blooded primal distillation of raw grace and power, the absolute embodiment of the ideal of form following function. They are, in my view, perfect beings, scarcely removed from gods.
