My buddy still hasnt given me a solid yes about hitting twin lakes on Sunday. I am working to late saturday mornign to head out saturday. But this might be a good chance to compare all 3 of these big Mack lakes on the same weekend. Good luck guys, hopefully everyone can land one over 30 inches

Bigbrown;
Thanks for the report. I just haven't done very well ice fishing this season. It's good to hear that someone has. One other question. What color jig tubes did you catch your macks on and at what dept?
Macks should be in shallower then 50-60 ft this time of year you should try moving no deeper then 20-30ft. I use white tub jigs tipped with sucker.
I havent got out there this year yet so I cant promise anything but they tend to move shallow right before the ice off and ice off stages of the lake to feed and to eat the hatchlings as they try to make their way to the shallows.
we did and do fish shallower for them it is just that time of the year where its hit or miss for the macs thy will start to move in within the next 2 weeks and i will be there waiting for them so i can RIP THERE LIPS hey epic thanks for the tip
