Needed to get away form the crowds and since twin lakes was having a tourney decided on the Fork. Was it cold, radio said -20 in Silverthorn,-30 in Dillon and-37 in Frasier.Parked at the inlet and got on the ice about 7:30. Ice was 30" thick. Drill through 3" hit a layer of water and then clear ice. Finally found 8' of water (should have read fishin-with-fire's post better) and started fishing. No luck on pike, to shallow, but iced two bows throughout the day. One 18" and one 20" on a pink ratso tipped with meal worm. Great day to just get away from life for awhile.

Nothing wrong with an 18" and a 20" trout. Good job!
