me and my brother with our freind willow creek yesterday and nailed the kokanee salmon from our 15 foot boat, we picked um up trolling on the far side of the lake, the salmon ran between 11 to 14 inches

went today to green mountian caught around 15 trout and 1 really nice salmon, all caught on pop gear and lure with a piece of worm, the salmon was 16 inches and real fat, the lake is high the salmon run should be awesome this year

its awesome either if you snag or catch um, i do both it just depends on the time of the run, i cant resist puting a hook in a salmon its a blast they fight hard, i use a 7 foot rod with 12 pound test, with the size of snagging hooks its imoportant to use heavy line, green mountain is so high its going to be interesting were the snagging will take place the river is so high but the water level usually drops, cant wait myself
