If you are on Facebook? We started a page called Wiper Addicts. If you love them and like looking at fish porn send me a request to join. Maybe we can get hooknline to post his 5000 pics, lol. We even got Doug Stange to join! But he hasn't posted anything yet. I think we have about 80 members so far?

We added 15 members just over night:) I am assuming they are all members here? If you can send me a message on FB and tell me your handle here on CF? That way I can put a face to the name!

There are still some reservoirs around here that have decent populations! I caught a bunch last spring. But I wish they would stock more!!!!! I know Pueblo got a big stocking last fall.

We also have a dozen reservoirs in western Nebraska and Kansas that are loaded with them!

Yeah, I just miss the days when it was easy to have 50 to 60 8 to 12 pound wiper days out on the eastern plains. No water...no fish. And Pueblo's definitely lost it's edge..used to be fantastic. I guess I'll just have to make an out of state trip with Z and Tony.

That would be nice! The best day I had last year was 8 and four lost. Maybe the Arkansas drainage will come back? They put 800,000 in Pueblo last fall.

Yeah...Meredith's full ...Henry is full..They're putting a few in Adobe now...Adobe's real low..John Martin...but the Queens, Timber and Nee Noshee will never come back..just don't store water out that way anymore and Jackson and Pruitt..Who knows?

Nice to hear that they're putting more in Pueblo.

I guess today would seem meager compared to that kind of fishing. I think there are some sleepers out there other than Pueblo. We graphed a **** load of Wipers last year while fishing for walleye!

I hope to fish John Martin some this year and hopefully Meredith and Henry when they are viable? I used to read how good the crappie fishing was there and Adobe also?

Yeah..they restocked Henry and Meredith this summer...give it a few years if the water holds...Adobe was the best crappie and white bass lake in the state for years..but now the water levels fluctuate too much during the spawn. It's okay..but not what it used to be. Henry and Meredith are cyclical...once again depending upon the water levels..Problem with Henry is that they used to have to keep a minimum pool because the feed lot across the road stored their water in the lake. But, last year the feed lot finished their pipeline and they get their water from the Arkansas instead.

Adobe..they've been digging a trench in order to be able to completely drain the lower lake in low water years. Adobe is really two lakes..could never really drain the lower lake before. With the front range buying up water rights from the farmers...just no reason to store water in the lakes out east anymore except in really high water years...and those farmer rights are gone now...kinda sucks.
