HooknLine, That lake is Harlan County Reservoir which is in South Central Nebraska. South of Kearney by an hour. This is the lake that I fish the most and although it is a 5 hour drive from Denver, it is in my backyard right now. I have seen Wipers and Whites boil at Prewitt and North Sterling this time of year.

How's the fishing from shore @ Harlan County?
Fantastic! Early in the year like from ice out (early March or late Feb.) to about mother's day, we can't keep cats off our line from the west end of the lake. Similar to the cat bite at Big Mac in spring. This time of year, I fish the dam where the rocks meet the cement. I target whites and wipers this time of year. My best so far in one day is over 40 wipers all 21-27" each and 7 white bass in 5 hours one morning. Need tips on spots or baits let me know.

Definitely- You can PM or post it right HERE.....

Bait(s)? Bag & Size Limits , etc?

Thanks CRAIG!
Definately sounds worth the drive!
Harlans a great lake but, they only let you have 1 over 18" and almost everyone is over that slot size. Kinda like Big Mac.
