Should be starting sometime soon. I've read a lot of articles about the subject and most articles point to late summer or early fall. However, it's hard to pin point the times (for me at least). I've only caught that once at NeeNoshee in it's good days. I hear a lot of hype about Pueblo tho. The word is that August and September are good months to go there with a binocular.

It really depends on where you are fishing.

Zara spooks, rattle traps, and shad raps are my favorite.

Wipers love shad. I also have caught them fishing for bass with a pig and jig, and had them spit up crawdads all over.
