Anyone know anything about Wrights Reservoir? Looks to be about 20 miles N W of Cripple Creek.

pretty sure it's still owned by western sportsman assoc... private to the best of my knowledge

Actually it's owned by Colorado Outdoor Sports. They own a few other properties around as well. More of a hunting club though than a fishing club.

I've fished Wrights a few times, it has some very nice fish in it.

I was just told that Wrights Reservoir was contaminated with arsenic and the fish are unsafe to eat. How can I find out if this is true?

Forest Service maybe?
Unless you are a gambler, I wouldn't recommend eating any until you get a reliable answer.

I have read/heard it is good for trout. That is all I know.

You have to pay for a membership to fish it and camp there!
