Was on the phone to order tracks for the UTV today but couldnt justify 5k in tracks on a 10k machine. Thinking snowmobile, older like early 2000 or 90s.

Teryx. was looking at new Mattracks and Camoplast. im sure the tracks are great, for the cost of tracks i can get a sled do big bore kot on the utv.

Thought it was just me thinking high prices.

UTV gets stuck more than youd think. 2' snow sucks. Worst is a layer of crust and breaking through. then your just high centered. i got stuck bad yesterday, broke winch cable, twice! needless to say, didnt fish. shitty day, fucked up my truck on both qtr panels, shitty day 4 sure. hence why i was like eff it, im getting tracks.

im a honda guy. but not cars. hate me some honda cars. i have a couple of 450s for dunes.

ive rode the dog **** out of a bunch of bikes in the dunes. hondas were the most reliable. yamahas are usually higher compression and that can lead to more problems.

but i havent rode a bunch of sleds so dont honestly know. we also had polaris bikes for my sister which my friends ended up riding. they rode the dog **** out of those with no problems besides being a bike for my sister. even saw my buddy roll it over him self going pretty fast and he just hoped back on and acted like nothing happened since the bike was fine. so since honda doesnt make sleds ill probably go Polaris route. altough i might have to do research about the bombardier motored skidoos. i know bombardier makes some really bad ass bullet proof stuff. my buddy had a bombardier quad that was really nice. my dad had one that crippled him since it was too much for him.

This is the one. But the touring track is maybe 0.8" paddles and theyre old and worn out.. Need to upgrade that to at least 1" or 1-1/4".
