Well, we were going to go catfishing in westwater canyon today near the colorado-utah border, but we knew the roads would be too bad because of this rain. The rain is still pounding right now...Should've went yesterday. I don't recommend anybody go down there right now or you might not come back up for days.

chubs, chubs, chubs, and chubs. There are a few carp as well, and a good population of native suckers. But you get at least 5 chubs for every cat using liver. When you get a white sucker and make cuttbait, you get less chubs per cat, but less cats too. cuttbait gives you about 3 chubs per cat.

There's very few in the colorado river supposedly, they are just rumors I believe because I've never seen one and reliable sources have never seen one. I'm sure there are some though, because I know there are some in powell. Years ago we caught a perch in the gunnison, so I've heard. I was too young to remember. The only fish I've caught in the colorado river are channel catfish, blue catfish (a couple), bullhead, white sucker, flannelmouth sucker, carp, bluehead sucker, squawfish, roundtail chub.
