Ok i purchased some senkos and hooks for texas rigging........now how do you fish the thing? Do you cast it like a plug or do you have to use some other technique? Do you drag it over the bottom and hop it like a jig? Do you cast and retrieve swimming the worm?

I am using a 6ft Med action rod and spinning gear with 10lbs line....do i cast the worm out and leave the bail open as the worm falls or do i let the worm fall with a tight line? Im confused.......Will senkos work in ponds that are murky or only in more transparent waters?.....sorry for all the questions...I have yet to catch a bass on plastics!!!

The short answer is YES. Haha you use all and any of those techniques everyone has their favorite. I like to Carolina rig better but the lakes I fish tend to have alot of vegatation and this seems to penetrate faster, Most strikes come on the fall.

Someone posted this site and I think its a great resource you might want to check out. www.bassresource.com

Finally got out in front of some water and fished a senko worm(Pearl with blue fleck). Fishing with them is alot slower then what Im used to...,I usually fish with spinners and kastmasters ect....
I cast it out and counted a few seconds off and sweeped my rod horizontally and repeated that until the worm was at my feet. I was about to reel in and cast again when I felt pressure at the end of my line. I thought it was a snag....but the snag moved. I set the hook and pulled out a 12 inch bass....Not monster size but again this is my first bass on a senko....That damn fish really hated the hook in its mouth..It kept shaking off my lip-grip!

thanks for all your help.....looking forward to attacking Riverbend ponds this weekend!!
