Midge Fly Swap - Sign up Closed

Starting a new thread so that the rules and stuff are at the beginning.

Here is what we have so far....

I have my self and Silent Light. PM your intent to me and we will get this going. Here will be the general rules:

Rules:
1. Swap open to the first 12-16 members to sign up.
2. All patterns must be 1 midge pattern 2 copies each.
3. Registration for the swap ends Dec 1, 2010.
4. Mail your flies BEFORE the Swap End Date. Include the following:
All your flies in a protected package.
Self-addressed return envelope - make sure you include adequate return postage. You can self-stamp your return envelopes with the same amount it costs to send in your flies or include a dollar bill.
5. End date of the Swap Feb 1, 2011.

We now have 13 tyers. I will close down the entries at 16 but we have enough to start tying. Gentlemen, start you vises....... Couldn't resist that. :D

There are a couple more really good tyers that only hit the forum a lot on Friday/Saturday. I want to give them a chance and also the rules stated the first 12-16 sign ups are in. What's 6 more flies among friends..... 8) ;D

It is... Can't decide in size 20 or 22 though... We'll see... I am leaning towards 22....
Did anyone decide on 20 or 22?
Not sure, but it is too late, I am done with my flies... size 22. tied on a 2488h... Was done last weekend and on to my long list of flies that I go through at an astounding rate.

Interesting... I did mine on size 20 and a 2487 hook. They all catch fish...... ;D
I did decide to do 2 variations of the same fly. I liked it last year when I got the same ant in black and cinnimon.
