Vexilar mounting to canoe?

Hi Guys,

I bought a canoe last year and haven't used it yet. I also have a Vexilar FL-8 that I use for ice fishing. Can anyone tell me a simple way to mount the Vex to the canoe so that I can put in at Rampart and look for those lakers?

This might help ya: http://www.mikescoloradofishing.com/ammo_electronics_box.html This way you could still use it for icefishing. Id put the transducer on some sort of pole to use when your boat.
